Remember Jurassic Park?
No. It's not some theme park In Tennessee; I'm talking about Jurassic Park the movie. These scientists took DNA from the blood found in a mosquito preserved in amber and used it to make a real live dionsaur.

Although the concept was far-fetched, the information was somewhat consistent with reality.

Amber, yes the amber used in jewelry, is hardened fossilized sap or resin from ancient pine trees. The resin dates back to prehistoric times. If you are willing to pay the price, you can buy amber with prehistoric inclusions, bugs, twigs...etc.  thus making plausible the whole Dinosaur from the blood of a mosquito thing.  (That is if you believe an ancient mosquito had the ability to pierce the hide of a dinosaur.)

SO ARE  YOU SAYING THERE'S NO DINOSAUR IN MY RING???

Well, actually, scientists in real life believe the
amber we use in jewelry came from a time when there were no dinosaurs.  So................. even though there was a Jurassic Park II, the whole Dinosaur-in-the-amber-fantasy thing was big stretch of the imagination.....but I won't tell anyone if you won't.
